The interactive Elevation Profile tool generates a graph of height values along a linear path to show a 2D nature of the landscape.
The height of values is known as the elevation profile and is generated from an existing line feature or a newly drawn line on a map.
Elevation profile is a visual representation of the landscape showing the changes in terrain along a linear path.
It is an essential landscape analysis method for land planning and development and for planning outdoor activities like cycling, hiking or racing.
